Do you know what you are – not who, but WHAT?

Obviously when you look upon yourself, you recognize the physical shape of a human being. But is the body the real you, or is the brain that does all the thinking the real you, or is the real you the eternal soul that all Scriptures speak of?

Yes, we know how the body came to be (mom + dad = me), and the brain is the ‘computer’ that instructs & manages the bodily functions.  But the soul – when and how did that come about? And when the body dies and the brain stops functioning, what happens to the soul – what does it look like, where does it go and what happens to it next?

Surely it cannot be that when the body stops functioning & it is buried or cremated, we ease to be?  If we believe that to be so, then what is the purpose of it all, one must ask.

As for me; the purpose is to acknowledge this Gift that is Life – to move through my every day as consciously aware as is possible – to Observe, Experience, Integrate & Become, and to project into the outer the aspects of The Creator that has come to life within me.

Possessions, money, accolades is not my end goal.  It is the quality of my Soul that makes me feel human, content, fulfilled and whole.
